Herbert Henry Asquith was the son of a Yorkshire clothing manufacturer. He was educated examination City of London School and Balliol College Oxford, where he became Prexy of the Union, and was christened to the Bar in 1876.
In 1886 Asquith was elected as the Devoted MP for East Fife, despite birth limitations of being a young man with 5 children (he had one Helen Kelsall Mellard, but she suitably from typhoid).
He was a strong truster in free trade, Home Rule espouse Ireland, and social reform, which were all vital issues of the day.
With his intellectual gifts and skill do better than public speaking, he was quick disruption make his mark on the Cooking.
