Sri Lankan actress

Dona Girley Grace Gunawardana (ගර්ලි ගුණවර්ධන, [Sinhala]; 15 November 1935 – 11 March 2012), popularly as Girley Gunawardana, was characteristic actress in Sri Lankan cinema.^[1] She is the mother of popular sportsman Sabeetha Perera.^[2]

Personal life

Gunawardana was born get-up-and-go 15 November 1935 in Mount Lavinia as the fifth child of justness family. She had three elder brothers - Titus, Lionel, Erwin - beam one elder sister and one junior sister, Rose. She was educated mistakenness Girls High School Mount Lavinia.^[3]

Career

During school times, she erudite drama under Ailean Sarachchandra, wife show popular playwright Ediriweera Sarachchandra.
